Did someone say... Power?
So, as many of you know, Zion has been working on limited power since jumping to 1950. But as of 9/6, it now has full power back as well as a limited cell network of it's own! This means people can charge their phones, text, sent pictures, etc.

Important points
- Thanks to a bit of magic, everyone's cell phone was etched with runes that will make it look like a small notebook and pen to anyone not holding it. Ala this image. It is pocket sized. And yes, this means if you choose to call someone in public, you will appear to be talking into a book if you put it to your ear. However, if you put it on speaker, only you will be able to hear the voice, but you will look like you're talking to a book.
- Charging happens automatically. A phone should never run out of power thanks to the magic imbued into the network that makes it all work.
- There is a generator behind the supply wagon that is blocked off. Everyone has been warned to stay away. If they encounter an electrical problem, see Louis, Kristoph or Domino (the new addition did raise some eyebrows when it was announced at breakfast). There is a spell around the generator that will make most people walking past it ignore it (those who are specifically magic users like Sorcerers and Magi would be able to detect the spell at work- anyone with the ability to influence others mentally will feel it slightly less as strong).
- The network works in the grounds of Zion, and 100 yards outside of the border- the were cages and the path to them are considered Zion grounds for the sake of the spell. Outside of this, the phones will still look like notebooks and be able to be used as a phone would without the ability to communicate with others. It will also start losing power. (Which means you could take pictures with them outside the carnival, but the battery won't charge and you won't be able to text or call anyone unless you were in the zone).
- It's unclear who, but someone bought a bunch of extra phones, so anyone new joining Zion is given one.
- There are no 'phone numbers' everyone's name is logged into the phones and 'magically' update when a new phone is added.
- There is also a sort of 'group text' set up so people can post questions, comments, or thoughts publicly. Just mark your post as 'Public Text' or 'Zion Group Text' or something so people know.
