Her eyes flicked up to his at the mention of card games, seems like there were fun things to do and even better if it meant she got to swindle some money out of a man’s pockets. “Card games you say? What sort of card games? I tend to like poker myself, easiest way to get to know a person I always say.” Suddenly the feeling washed over here and all at once she was free. Free from any lingering pain, free from responsibility, just free. A low purr came from her throat as she sunk into the feeling.
“Woo, ain’t never had no concoction like this. Say, how much of that you got left? I say we empty it and play a few hands of cards. How’s that sound?” She knew he’d just finished his performance so he might be tired but it wasn’t nothing that what was in that flask couldn’t fix.
