Kieran listened to the professor, trying to grasp the analogy he put forward. He raised a brow as he tried to show he’d wrapped his head around it. “So this ‘liquid’ inside of him, it’s more likely to reach full potential when used with other ‘liquid’ so to speak?” This part he at least grasped but he wasn’t sure how much of what was to come would make any sense. It still didn’t really but if he followed the professors logic he might learn something yet.
“So what happened the first time was that his magic didn’t have enough focus?” The gears were turning in Kieran’s head faster than he’d thought.
“Please forgive me if I’m wrong Professor, I’m just trying to put the pieces together is all.” He sat back in his seat and awaited the responses. There was always more to learn but he didn’t want to keep the Professor up all night.
“I know he’s planning on doing it again.” At least this time they’d spoken of it though it barely did anything to calm his nerves. “I want to know what I can do to help him this time around so I don’t have to go through this again.” It was selfish but he was sure everyone was tired of jumping around at this point.
