Rebekah's eyes went back to their stony blue. So long as Clint remained loyal she would never have a need to compel him. Perhaps she would stake him instead if he began to deviate. It was difficult to tell and the ancient vampire did have quite the temper.
"Your emotions are running high right now," she said to him instead. "You'll see that anything you felt as a human will be heightened now that you're a vampire. You may want to stay away from Natasha for a bit, unless you fancy the idea of turning her too."
Rebekah wouldn't have minded having a second soldier around but she had no great desire to bring Natasha into the fold unless Clint wished for it. She would not stop him either, only ask him to consider his moves before he made them. Young vampires were so very often naive and impulsive.
