God pinched the bridge of his nose. It was true that he didn't like Yahweh. Not that he liked "God," or "Jehovah," or "Elohim"... they all sort of grated on his nerves. However, the fact that Lucifer was addressing him by a respectful title indicated that he still had some power over Hell's lord. As Lucifer thought (and knew from experience), God was indeed powerful.
"Perhaps it has because the last millennia have been so very interesting, old friend," God replied, pouring himself a cup of tea from the small clay pot on the table. "I wanted to talk about the way the world is going... and hopefully, dissuade you from your recent declaration."
