The Location- "Our Town"

[info]zero_hour_mods
You have yet to enter either heaven or hell.

You have been taken from your world, at any point in canon, and inhabit an area known only as "Our Town" with the other members of the game. There is a city district, and Our Town is surrounded by a large forest. There are several portals which angels and demons can use to go back and forth between Our Town and heaven and hell, but only angels and demons may use them.

You live and work as you did in your former life, alongside your friends and foes alike. You occupy an apartment, with or without a roommate depending on your preferences. Every day, you see people you recognize in Our Town, no matter where you go. Your friends and family work in restaurants, sell you clothes and other sundry items, and provide services for you, but never acknowledge that they know who you are. This maddening effect is not proven to be so, but many think that it is a way for Our Town to test the emotional strength of the people God and Lucifer have chosen to take part in the battle between heaven and hell. Rest assured; it will become dreary routine after awhile, even if it is upsetting at first.

Your life and decisions are your own. Depending on the side you chose, you have either God or Lucifer looking out for your well-being. If you have chosen neither side, or been approached by neither deity, you will be considered "neutral" and still inhabit Our Town; the only difference is that you have no affiliation, and therefore may not become an angel or a demon.

So long as they are on God or Lucifer's side, it is possible for human beings and other races to become angels or demons, but to do so, they must die within the town. Such a matter is not to be taken lightly, however; even if they are harder to kill, if an angel or a demon dies, there is no coming back.
