"Oh, man, you're right. Cutting things evenly totally never came up in college. Barbers are truly the real heroes," Cecilia answered, dry and deadpan. As they descended the stairs Cecilia took another good look around, and decided to try the hall in the opposite direction of the living room. She kind of liked how open everything was, which wasn't normal for her. Archways opening in the wall lead out to little decks or patios, and it helped circulate a breeze through the house. In the real world that would have driven her nuts, she would have seen it as a security concern. Here? Well. None of them were safe, but their foe wasn't one they could defend against anyway. As long as her bedroom door had a lock on it, she could deal with it.
"Back when I was still living and working in New York, we sometimes had to cut hair on homeless patients," she answered, seriously now. "I don't know if that's necessarily a huge vote of confidence, but I can probably manage to make you not look like a homeless guy." She looked up at him and smiled. "I mean, unless you want. And if you like it long, grow it out."
