Who: Edwin and Erran When: A little after 1 AM Where: Second floor hallway
Edwin woke up tired, and unsure of what time it was. He'd gone to bed aware of the fact that it was early for him to be sleeping, but the day before had been too quiet. The quiet had been nice in the beginning, giving him time to try to write a few things but when he'd started hearing eerie voices from the hallway only to find no one there, he'd secretly wished for company. He didn't scare easy, but this place made it easy to be uncomfortable. So he went to bed, and expected to see the sun again in the morning.
But it was still dark in the morning. Edwin didn't know what time it was, just that he was groggy, and the windows were still covered in his room. He showered, threw on some clothes that he'd gotten from Cassi's, and left his room to see if it was all the windows that were still covered. He only needed to look towards the second story landing to see that no daylight was getting in, and as he approached he found that it wasn't because it was still night time. It might have been, of course, but he couldn't tell. The windows were still covered. He started towards the stairs, but changed his mind as he heard voices. Not any that he recognized either.
He decided that being brave was for when he was more awake. He turned back to his room, and jumped when he heard more voices from the hallway. Then banging. Wasn't the room at the end of the hall empty?
Frustrated, he went to the door to assure himself that this was just another one of their tricks. He grabbed the doorknob and tried to throw the door open, but it didn't budge. It was locked, and someone was on the other side, trying to get out, it seemed. He took a deep breath as he made sense of this, then knocked gently with one knuckle.
