Who: Evie and Jack Where: En route/Kitchen When: About noon
Although she didn't like the idea of wearing it, Evie supposed that the hospital gown(s) would be the lesser of two evils. There was no way in hell she wanted to wear her wedding dress for the foreseeable future, and she would even consider figuring out a way to toga her sheet if it wasn't nearly see-through. Still, she was glad that Jack had offered up the suggestion, as she hadn't thought of asking others for theirs to try to piece something together.
After saying she would meet him there, she stood up from the desk, cringing at the thought of going out of her room in this damn wedding dress. It was unavoidable, though, as she would have to figure out the hospital gowns before she could change out of it. Steeling herself, she grabbed her own hospital gown before leaving the room. She had no idea what to expect on the other side of it, and was surprised when she found herself in a wide, open hallway.
Even though it looked like some kind of fancy hotel, she couldn't help the way she moved rather slowly toward where she figured the stairs most likely to be, looking around as if expecting some kind of monster to jump out of a hidden panel and murder her. Paranoid, maybe, but who could blame her considering the way they'd all been kidnapped.
