Who: Edwin, OPEN When: Afternoon Where: The 3rd floor Gameroom
Alright, so it was dark. No big deal. The lights still worked, and Edwin had never been afraid of the dark. What kind of creepy little goth kid would he be if he was afraid of the dark? He remembered pretending he was a vampire too often when he was a kid, and couldn't fall asleep at night. He'd cross his arms over his chest like Bela Lugosi, and imagine turning into a bat until he'd put in a pair of plastic fangs and attack his brother by jumping on his bed. He had gotten in trouble a lot for staying up past bed time, but he always got the impression that his parents were amused by it, since they never took his fangs away.
Alright, so they were locked in the house. It meant that they weren't forced out into town, forced to do dumb tasks like the one where everyone was locked together. He still had yet to be part of one of those, if he didn't count all the cleaning he'd been forced into. Things had gotten worse since he'd first been dropped there, but then again, they'd also gotten a second game room and pool, and no dead birds had to be fished out of this new one. That was nice.
Being stuck in the house, and with no tasks to accomplish, Edwin had made the decision early that he would work on that RP that he and Oliver had discussed. He considered getting Oliver to start out, but he didn't think that the other man would be interested in writing up the skeletal structure of the game. He seemed like he'd be more interested in the plot and the action, and not the rules and the races and the world. That was fine, he'd bother Oliver, and probably Chase, about it later on.
He'd found some paper and had settled at the little bar in the game room. Even though he wasn't afraid of the dark, his room was dark, and while he loved the atmosphere, it made it hard to write. The game room reminded him of this comic book shop back home, and was brighter than his room. He'd been there for at least an hour, but had taken a break from writing when he thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye. Rather than be afraid, he figured that this was a good excuse to take a break and play Pac Man.
