Who: Kiley, Chase, Lennon and Tobias When: Late morning Where: The house, obvs
While Kiley could generally take the unpredictability of Zenith in stride, today's surprise was pushing her patience. Being stuck inside the house, with no way out, was not how she wanted to wake up. The blackened windows wouldn't open, nor would the doors she and Chase had tried. It was early yet - was it? - so Kiley was trying not to panic. She wasn't claustrophobic or anything, but the idea of being locked in somewhere, with no way of looking or getting to the outside world had her blood pressure rising for sure. Was it just for today? Would they lock them in their rooms next? The fear of uncertainty had started to simmer deep down, though she was trying not to freak out just yet. What good would that do?
But she needed something to distract her from the locked doors and dark windows before she lost it completely. It didn't take her long to come up with something, since it was obvious the entire house was affected by this fuckery. "We should check on Lennon and Tobias," she suggested to Chase after a moment, hoping her tone didn't convey the deep seated panic she was feeling. "Make sure they're okay."
