"A chore wheel is a great—well, it might not end up being a chore wheel specifically," Jim said in response to Cecilia's question. He was grateful that this meeting was going pretty smoothly, everything pretty low-drama so far. "With over twenty people in the house, we'd get into Antikythera Mechanism territory pretty quickly. Um, like way too big or elaborate," he added, just in case other people thought the reference was opaque. "And since people do come and go from the house, and since we never know how much free time we'll have in a given day, we want there to be some flexibility in whatever system we use. But especially if the three of us work on it, we can definitely come up with a schedule that's fair for everybody."
