"If someone's life in the real world is worse, this could be a step up. If there's someone without friends or family or even a home..." Cecilia frowned. "I don't know. I'm just theorizing. In the long run I suppose it doesn't matter." She gave in to speed again, letting the bike accelerate downhill without holding back. Her hair flew behind her and she could hear Neptune barking happily. As another curve came up she slowed again. It was almost fully dark, and they were already practically in town. It was an hour walk, but much shorter on the bikes.
"Let's stop somewhere in town so I can let you read something," she suggested.
