"Yeah, you got a point," Lennon said. "The wind might fling someone right through the barrier and they'd get fried or whatever. Probably not the best plan. I wish we could build a sky lift, like they have at resorts. That'd be cool." All of this was completely fantasy and/or hypothetical, but it was fun to talk about something that wasn't life and death or gloom and doom. Lennon realized that this was exactly what he'd needed today.
He untangled himself enough to reach down for one of the bottles of root beer Chase had brought in. "I think a dog sled is doable, if the dog and Cecilia would be okay with it." He felt sure that was a project Chase could make happen given he could find the materials.
