"I agree that our cleaning teams need specific tasks," Kate told Pam. "That's why I asked you and Jim to coordinate it. But Pam, you're going to have nearly fifteen people. That's too many for one floor when we could be in teams getting triple the amount of work done in the same time. Please help Jim get everyone on a task; the more we waste time arguing about how to do things, the less time we have to actually do them. It's house cleaning, not rocket science. Everyone will be okay."
She went quiet then, as the others began to chime in, and Kate nodded her agreement to Oliver. Repairing the outside was going to be irritating at best in the drizzle with nothing better than bikes to transport supplies; better to get a handle on what they needed and go from there. "Okay, Juno, if it's only those four that we're missing, that means two of them are sick and two probably just missed the memo or are already with the sick ones. Run a sweep through the whole house just to be sure, grab the two who are healthy and talk to Pam or Jim for a floor assignment after. Go ahead and go now, if you want." She could see the tension in the other woman's body.
She nodded her thanks to Georgie for the damage report and Chase and Owen for the volunteering and information. "If you two want to go start pulling what we'll need to get the tree out of the pool and fix the broken railing and window, Oliver and I can check out the rest of the exterior and then meet you down there to start hauling everything back up. Once we're back with supplies, we can start pulling people to help out as necessary."
She looked around the room, making sure everyone had been accounted for that had shown up. "If there aren't any other objections, let's call this meeting done and get started. We're wasting daylight and we're on the clock."
