Pam's face flushed as Kate took charge of the situation, and she pressed her lips into a thin line as the other woman went on to say some things that she just didn't agree with. She thought she'd been off to a good start with Daphne agreeing, too.
"Excuse me," she said softly, raising her hand again for people's attention. "I actually think that's the wrong way to do it. I think it's entirely reasonable that we should be able to finish today! And we should try to, too, because we shouldn't use up three days while people are counting on us, as I'm sure you can understand." She shrugged. "No, I think it would be better if a team of us worked on the outside, and everyone inside works together, one floor at a time, with specific tasks to do! Like that mopping thing I was getting at. It's a good idea for you and Oliver to go out and look at what needs fixing outside, though! Oliver knows construction, and you're still kind of new here so maybe repairing stuff outside might be easier than knowing how to organize things inside. But I don't know! You should be fine. Who should go down to the hardware store with you? Quick and strong people, I think." She looked around the room, trying to find the right people to volunteer. "Owen? Chase?"
