"No, guys, no," Pam interrupted, raising a hand in the air as if waiting to be called on, or at least noticed for speaking. As if anyone could miss her. "We can't have like eight people watching after the sick people. There's only three of them, so there should be, like, one person on sickie duties. And I vote Avram because he does that stuff." She pointed at Avram, just in case anyone didn't know who he was.
"And then the rest of us need to clean, because they're not gonna get better until we clean, right? No matter how many people make them soup. And we all know Jack makes the best soup, anyway, and if he's not here then that's just sad, so we should get to work!" She stood up, clapping her hands together, then clasping them together in front of her, elbows out, ready to give out chores for everyone if people didn't start picking what they'd be doing. She cleared her throat, then looked around the room. "Should we start with mopping duty? Who wants to mop?"
