Willow had spent the morning in the kitchen, familiarizing herself with some of the strange equipment there and making herself breakfast. She'd been on her way up the stairs with the intention of freshening up and then perhaps finding someone willing to go into town to find that clothing store Madison had mentioned on her first day here. Her plans had completely been thrown off when she'd ran into Kate on the stairs and heard about the people being sick and the instructions left by Them and the house meeting. She'd said something about the computer, but Willow didn't know what that was, and it didn't seem like the right time to ask, not with the sense of anxiety and urgency that had settled in the house.
She'd been at the meeting from the start, looking at all the people and paying close attention to what was going on. "I'm happy to help with the cleaning, but I think I'd be more useful in the kitchen, working on something to help those who are sick, at least at first." Or try, anyway. Without knowing exactly what it was, and without Celeste's direction, there would be an awful lot of guesswork involved. But even if she couldn't heal them, she could at least try to ease some of the symptoms. And there was also the risk of contamination and contagions, and she was certainly starting to feel anxious about it all, but she wanted to help.
