She took a quick sip of her drink, then batted her hand at the air. "I'm kidding! Retail is great, it's totally important."
And then, suddenly, her mood changed. She opened her mouth to answer how long she'd been there, but a little strangled noise came out instead. Three weeks without Fletcher, she thought again, and her eyes welled up. Rather than trying to hide it, though, she just let out a few sobs. "I've been here since the beginning!" she cried. "I miss Fletcher!!"
