Humor to the rescue! Jack couldn't help but let the wave of relief wash over him, and while the momentum was going, even if she was still obviously not one of the droopy-faced woods yet, he continued on.
"I don't know," he feigned a sigh, staggering his step a little to poke one leg out and tug up his pants a little until it exposed his calf. He made sure to keep his other leg steady and firm, so that he was keeping his own weight up and still supporting her. "I'm not sure I really have the legs for it. I mean, I'd work it if I had to, but you've gotta have the right crowd for it." He let the cloth drop and gave her a pointedly playful look. "Plus I don't shave, I only manscape. You don't want to see chest hair on anything low cut. It's like putting a dress on a bear, and I'm not waxing."
