Re: 9pm Oliver and OPEN
"Yeah, Sunshine's got a knack for that," Oliver said fondly of Kate, the corner of his mouth turning up.
He tilted his head at Avram curiously, catching on to the blatant hint that the man eluded to being medicated before it was more properly spelled out for him a few seconds later. God, he hadn't even thought to consider that there might be people in the house who needed regular medications. To have to depend on someone who was already so thoroughly fucking with their lives with something like that was....terrible. He tried to think of what it would have been like if he was still dependent on his own pills, and potentially going through his withdrawal in a place like this. He couldn't. Didn't want to.
"I...wasn't aware that they were even dishing out meds to people," he replied honestly. "I don't think that's paranoid at all in a place like this, but whatever They're doing today, I don't think it involves that. I'm not taking anything, and today's been..." He chose his words carefully, not really sure exactly how to describe it. He thought of the window and the computer again, and of an empty box of Frosted Mini Wheats. "...a little too interesting, maybe. Had kind of a...rough punishment yesterday. Whatever might be goin' on today, I guess I automatically chalked it up to dealing with that. Never thought to wonder if it was happenin' to anyone else." He tilted his head toward Avram, concern lining his brows. "Are you doin' alright, all things considered?"
