"I can't complain," Damon said. Well, he could and had yesterday, but other than that he wasn't finding much not to like about this experience. In his assessment of it all, the positives outweighed the negatives. That was what mattered, the only thing that counted.

That part of it had tickled his warped sense of humor, and it hadn't really mattered what the reasons behind it might have been. Leave all that to the brainiacs. He wasn't dumb by any means, but it was more a cunning kind of intelligence than the figuring out obscure puzzles kind.
