Marco & Juno & Open - 8:25
Marco had been one of the last people to grab clothes from the dining room, but his timing hadn't mattered when he was reminded again that he was the only tiny guy in the house. He considered himself lucky that Kate, or Daphne, or whoever, had bothered to grab anything in his size. He wasn't sure if it was their luck or Their design that it was something that he actually would feel comfortable in. Even then, he wasn't sure he wanted to come down and join the party. Chase's message hadn't done much to make him feel better about being in a room full of people who he surely had a reputation with at this point.
Still, he'd promised Juno and Lennon, and he really did want to spend more time with them, so he got ready between messages and headed downstairs. He almost forgot that he was dressed up when he looked down, because his jacket was the same shade of red as his favorite hoodie, he just hadn't worn out the hem on the sleeves. The shirt, with it's polka dots, however, was more ironed and starched than anything he could ever remember wearing. He still felt uncomfortable, and it only got worse as he got to the billiards room late.
He stood close to the door at first, playing with his sleeves and trying to be mostly undetected. He felt awkward. Why did he feel so awkward and nervous? Was it the clothes? Was it all the pretty girls?
He left the wall near the door and went directly to the bar.
