Madison watched Evie try to count exactly how many days she had been here for, and her eyes widened at the number she came up with. Five days really had nothing on twenty; people would start going mad any day now, she was sure of it. Case in point, the always so collected Evie being drunk off her ass in her wedding dress. She made no mention of what Evie interrupted herself before spelling out, but Madison knew exactly what she was going to say. "Mazeltov." she said faintly.
Trading the mini-quiche for a sip or two of chocolate liqueur sounded just great; it would serve as a definite transition into the dessert portion of the evening. Until she circled back, of course, because it really sounded like a possibility. Madison took the bottle from Evie's hands with a smile, and with her other hand she deposited the mini-quiche onto her palm. "Thank you, and enjoy."
With that said, Madison took a hearty swig of the chocolate liqueur and found that Evie was absolutely right - it was very good. Sweet, but extremely alcoholic. A definite fancy party starter.
