She noticed a slight change in him she didn't quite understand, but she was still learning on he worked. "Sit," she murmured, standing and putting a hand on his shoulder. "Eat. I'll get that for you." She set her own plate on the end table and strode over to the bar without waiting for a response. She returned a minute later with two drinks, the cognac for him and a nice vintage red Bordeaux for herself. She offered his drink to him with a smile. "I told you I was going to take care of you tonight."
