Everything in the mansion was ten times nicer than Tobias had ever had. He didn't want to ruin his sheets, or anything he was given, because he had no idea if they would be replaced. It was the small things he had to enjoy while he was there.
Tobias sat at the table, feeling a little useless as Juliet moved around the kitchen. She was already helping with his sheets, and he kind of felt bad that she was making him breakfast too. But... pretty girl making him food? How could he say no?
"Eggs sound good," he said with a faint smile before fidgeting in his chair. "I'm sorry about your... your parents. I never had chores until my stepdad..." Tobias chewed on his lip before continuing, "but I guess it's kind of beneficial to learn to be self-sufficient at a young age, yeah?"
