"That's the logical way of looking at it. But I'm willing to bet most people here won't approach tomorrow the way you might," Kiley pointed out. "I remember what it was like out on the lawn when I got the lock for your door. The people who'd received their punishments, I mean... it was like a freaking horror show. And that was just a handful of people. This will be everyone." She wasn't sure if people would be punished individually or the house as a whole would suffer. But Chase was right. It wasn't like they could run away from it.
"Maybe they'll lock me in a room with Marco. Or Pam." Kiley's eyes widened comically. "Now that's the epitome of torture, right there." She wasn't being serious, but it felt necessary to lighten to the mood a little before they got too somber. She didn't want to sink into a bad mood again before leaving his room for the night.
