Who: Juliet and Kate Where: In the closet! When: Roughly sunrise What: Enforced friendship and team building exercises
It was a dull ache in her neck that gradually woke Kate, the sensation of having been in one position for too long without moving. She got the same thing sometimes when she spent long nights in the studio sketching new designs or sewing samples. She went to stretch, out of habit, opening her eyes with a jolt when her hands hit an unfamiliar wall and her feet hit something soft - both unfamiliar, both way too close, and both in places they absolutely should not be if she was alone in her bed.
There wasn't much to see, wherever she was - it was dark, but she could feel the dimensions of the place easily enough and it was small, too fucking small, and the warmth beside her, was that another person? She could feel her chest begin to tighten and she took a deep breath that felt like nothing. "Hello?" Kate asked, moving more carefully now that she knew she was sharing the place with another body. Fumbling hands felt for the door of whatever space they were in - a closet? - found it and pushed.
Nothing.
A spike of pure dread mixed with adrenaline hit Kate and she shoved at the door again, feeling a slight give but no actual opening. "This isn't funny!" she shouted, banging on the door with a fist. She could feel her pulse rising, breath coming faster in short little pants. "Let us out! Hello?"
