Willow was relieved that there was some explanation in there, as she wouldn't have had any idea what a projector was otherwise. But that didn't stop the explanation from making the hair on her arms raise, and she shivered faintly. "That's a rather disturbing thought," she murmured.
Despite Madison's answer, Willow rather thought the lobby to the theater was in good shape, fresh and clean. Perhaps that in and of itself was strange. She walked along with her up to the popcorn stand. When Madison held out a popcorn bucket to her, Willow took it and scooped some popcorn into it. Without hesitation, she grabbed a popped kernel out of the bucket and ate it. It tasted different from the popped corn she was used to, but it wasn't bad by any means.
"Ooh, it's so..." She couldn't pinpoint the word she wanted to use to describe it. It was somewhat buttery and salty, but there was something else, some other quality that she couldn't place. "It's really good, though. Perhaps not the best breakfast, but I feel like I haven't eaten in days, so I'm not complaining." She tossed another kernel in her mouth. "So, where do you think we should start looking for the key?" she asked the other woman.
