That...was not a reaction Willow had ever really encountered. Questions were welcomed in the commune, and things were almost always explained patiently and efficiently. She waited patiently while it seemed Madison was struggling to come up with an answer. Certainly, this was some form of technology that they didn't have in the commune so that they could better connect with nature and the Goddess. When Madison finally gave her answer, Willow gave a slight nod, accepting it without asking any of the other questions circling around her head. Pictures, she knew of, though there were very few cameras in her community. The most commonly used one was a Polaroid, and she loved to borrow it at times to take close-up pictures of some of her plants in the very early morning when the dew glistened on the leaves and petals.
Willow was inclined to insist that Madison borrow her cloak, as she could feel the chill on her cheeks and could imagine how much more biting it was on the excess skin exposed by Madison's clothes. What stopped her was the addendum that there was a place in town Madison could get something if need be. "All right," she conceded gracefully.
As Madison started off again, Willow lifted the front of her skirt with her free hand and followed, doing her best to keep pace so that she didn't feel pulled along. She listened to the answer about 'Blockbuster' and, though she became more confused, accepted it with only a slight nod. It was a lot to process, waking up in a strange place under questionable circumstances for an as yet unknown purpose and facing exposure to things she'd either never heard of or never seen in person. The promise to tell her later went a long way to helping satisfy her curiosity for the moment.
The first question amused her, but she waited for Madison to finish speaking before she answered. "My head is a little foggy still, but it's certainly cleared up enough to manage a good jog, I believe. If I'm troubled, I'll be sure to inform you," she assured her, willing to try so that they could remove the metals cuffs sooner. And, perhaps then she would be able to find out more about this place. "Just let me..." She stopped walking long enough to hike her skirt up higher on her waist, the elastic band keeping it in place there. This way, she wouldn't be tripping on it as they went. "All right, let's go," she said, starting to move, prepared to jog along with Madison.
