"Outside the windows?" Marco hadn't planned on saying much of anything during the dinner. He'd spoken to Juno, of course, and was glad to have her next to him, because his other options were less than ideal. When he'd realized that this was all just to have a group meeting, he'd mostly just kept eating. It had been too long since he'd had a good meal, though that was his own fault.
But Chase's suggestion had confused him, and he'd spoken up without taking a moment to think about it. Almost instantly, he knew he should have kept his mouth shut, because he really didn't want to be part of a welcoming committee. He flinched, but continued anyway. "Your window opens up to roof, though, right? Second floor? Yeah, I'm not feeling hanging out my third floor window and trying to write instructions backwards on my window. Unless they've got harnesses at the hardware store, too."
