This was already proving to be quite entertaining for Daphne. It was accelerating the process of putting names to faces (something she'd already done a little with her camera access), and it was always useful to know how people acted in group situations. She found there was usually a difference, and she didn't think tonight was going to disappoint.
Some part of her wanted to throw her head back and laugh at the idea of sliding cards under the door, but her face remained a careful mask of concern. "A card wouldn't have done me any good, I'm afraid," she said, the words spoken gently but loud enough to carry through the room. "I was in a right state. I was terrified of the IV, I needed someone to talk me through it. Even then it was rough going." There was no point in denying it, though it wasn't quite the impression she wished she had made. Might as well work it into her delicate damsel routine.
