The spread definitely didn't disappoint, not that Evie had ever thought it would, not with Jack taking them helm. When she arrived, she settled into the seat next to Jack, nodding a greeting to the others there that she'd actually interacted with so far and liked well enough. She'd fixed herself up a plate, not at all concerned with what Jack was putting on his. She was the last person qualified to judge other's eating habits, after all.
When Cecilia addressed the group, bringing everyone's attention to the other end of the table, Evie leaned forward a bit to look at her and pay attention. She was actually surprised and impressed with the turn out, and she couldn't help wondering if this was everyone, currently. There were faces she didn't think she recognized, and there were others missing that she'd seen over the last two weeks, so it was a bit strange. She snorted a brief laugh under her breath at the 'in case of emergency' comment, and then had to roll her eyes when Pam interjected in her oh-so-charming way. Of course it was Pam.
She nodded in silent agreement at Cecilia's response, and let her thoughts wander as she tried to decide what her opinion on the matter was. And when Juno spoke up, she glanced over at the woman and felt a pang or something - maybe a touch of guilt? - for what she'd said about her in the survey that morning. It hadn't been bad, per se, but she also might have been a little more judgmental than she had any right to be. "Juno's probably right about that," Evie chimed in. Once she'd stopped being sick, she'd spent a whole day on the computer without even trying to leave her room, so she probably wasn't the best example there, but she figured she was the exception rather than the rule.
