(ง'̀-'́)ง ([info]future_dust) wrote in [info]zenithrp,
It wasn't often, or at all, that Juno felt proud of herself. Tonight, however, she did. Even if Jack had done most of the work and Lennon had helped, there was still some of the food everyone was eating that had been made by her. And it tasted amazing.

Naturally, she had taken up a seat next to Marco but not too far from Lennon or Jack, and thus, even despite feeling terribly out of place and wanting to jump up and leave every five seconds, things were going pretty good. When Cecilia had started speaking Juno leaned over the table to listen. Cecilia, for some reason, had been pinned as the designated leader of this shit-show and Juno wondered if anyone had ever asked her if she was willing. Either way, it wasn't like she herself had offered, for example; maybe she had stepped up because no one else had.

When Pam spoke, Juno simply sighed and smiled. If it wasn't directed at her the whole high-pitched fast talking thing could even be amusing, and she was being harmless. Not that Pam was ever particularly harmful to begin with. When Cecilia offered to post on the network, Juno nodded. Even if she couldn't see the nod, Juno thought it was a good idea to keep everyone updated - and if she was offering...

Juno didn't have a good plan on the new arrivals, though. It was good to have a standard procedure, she supposed. Juno thought it depended on whether someone heard them first, or they got to the network first. Most people, she thought, went for the door before the computer; waking up in a strange room with an IV in, one probably wanted to get out instead of checking twitter. Still, Juno was hard pressed to say anything; not her crowd, because no crowd was her crowd. But when no one said anything, and despite blushing furiously, she piped up. "Um, I think it depends on what they go for first, but I guess most people go for the door before the computer, right? When you wake up in a strange place you just wanna get out. I did, anyway."
