Cecilia's attention shifted, focusing on Pam for a moment. Of course it was Pam. Cecilia opened her mouth to respond and closed it again. For a moment she actually looked a little embarrassed. Should she not have said that part? "Yes, I actually check them every morning," she replied, giving a small, almost sheepish little smile. "And if people want, I can start posting on the network whenever I realize someone's gone. Up to this point I've just been doing it for... well, for me. Trying to keep tabs on things."
She felt a little foolish, but there was nothing for it but to push forward. At least she was comfortable, feeling fully dressed for the first time in sixteen days after her own visit to Cassi's. Yoga pants and her favorite sweatshirt, a heather blue hoodie that was soft and worn and fitted her perfectly. Appropriately enough, the words 'I'm a NURSE. To save time let's assume that I am never wrong' were printed across the back in big block letters.
Cecilia actually chuckled a little then, now completely over her earlier annoyances with Pam. In hindsight, she found it unlikely that her problem had ever been Pam. Pam had just been a convenient target who said the wrong thing at the wrong time. "You can yell questions," she said, wondering if she was going to regret that. "I'm nobody's boss. There's just a handful of points I want to talk about before you guys have stuffed yourselves and are ready to wander off into a collective food coma." She wasted no time in launching immediately into her next one. "So yeah, I'm willing to post on the network if I notice someone gone, if circumstances allow. I'd also really like to get on the same page about how to handle new people. The first time it happened, with Alistair, I went to his room and talked him through the process. Yelled it through his door, anyway. I don't know if that was better than just letting people get on the network and find out for themselves. Anyone have an opinion on that?"
