Becoming a nun wasn't a dream as much as it was a fever or anxiety dream she might have, but Madison didn't tell him that. Instead, she laughed. She stopped laughter immediately upon Jim's revelation that he had worked in the Artic, and resisted the urge of asking if he had been spreading the Good Word to the penguins. It was delightful how he had just started telling stories about his past to her. "I'd say God bless you but...you've got that covered."
Cracking the eggs into a bowl, Madison shrugged. "Maybe if we're lucky there's a rule book and a bunch of dice in the game room. Because yes, we have a game room." Madison shrugged. His questions about her past, while not surprising, weren't pleasant. Madison finally put the eggs to fry, which gave her an excuse to keep quiet a little longer. "Boston. I'm from Boston. Lots of Catholics there, you'd like it."
