Who: Walt & Pam
When: 4pm-ish
Where: Kitchen
It had been an interesting day, and Pam wasn't quite sure how to feel about it. She'd done what she'd set out to do, and that was get the thing tied to the birds. Keys, as it turned out. Not that she had a clue what they were for, even with all the speculation.
But in the process of trying to get the key, she'd once again confirmed an idea that kept popping into her head: she was not well liked in this house. It shouldn't have bothered her. These weren't her people. In the real world, she wouldn't even think to talk to the majority of them, and even here, she spoke up a lot less than she could have. But since it had now been over two weeks since she'd seen Fletcher, she was lonely, and cranky. It wasn't like she could have a meaningful conversation with the octopus that everyone hated so much.
At least someone wanted to chat with her. She looked forward to getting coffee with Walt. He seemed sophisticated, and like someone who could have easily been at any number of her family's parties. He may have even recognized that about her, too, which was nice. It was good to have someone to talk to.
She wasn't sure if she was supposed to put on the coffee or if Walt had planned on it, but she let it be for when he joined her in the kitchen. In the meantime, she stood at the window and watched the birds some more, wondering if they would need to get the other keys for some reason.
