"Can do," Jack nodded to the girl, rummaging around in the fridge once he found the creamer, then went in for the eggs, mushrooms, peppers and sausage. Fairly basic as far as omelettes went, but he wasn't complaining. Or even eating it. "We got a ton'a cheese in there if you wanna go in fish out what you want." He gestured with his head as he moved to toss everything onto the counter, then went back to fixing his coffee.
"Jack," he replied conversationally without looking, brandishing a spoon before dunking it into the mug to stir the contents. "Native New Yorker, a Leo, and not all that happy to be here." He glanced at the girl as he raised his mug, then took a drink of the coffee.
He let it slosh around in his mouth for a few seconds before his eyes bulged, forcing himself to swallow and set the mug down before falling into a fit of hacking and choking. His hand going to his throat as his other moved to steady himself against the counter, preventing him from falling as his knees buckled. A few seconds later he was back on his feet again, as if nothing had happened. "Good shit. Needs more sugar, though."
