Re: Juno + Open
This was pathetic, Juno could feel it in her bones, and yet she remained seated on the ground, trying not to cry but tearing up all the same. She wanted to move, get the hell out of there and lock herself up in her room for a few days, but felt too sick to do so. Her head was now throbbing violently to boot, and she couldn't focus her eyes on anything. Mostly, however, she just felt miserable. It was just the kind of fucked up thing these freaks would do to mock her having survived this far while also placing her on suicide watch. Out of spite, Juno didn't know whether to continue trying to find a way to die or force herself to live through whatever else they threw at her. She didn't think the resolution to this problem would come any time soon, certainly not right now.
When she glanced to the side to see a fairly tall burly dude she didn't know crouching down beside her, Juno had no reaction, merely wiping her tears away with the back of her hand. "No shit. They're not trying anymore." She chuckled humorlessly, tapping the tip of her shoe against the discarded trophy. "They got it, it's perfect. Fucking perfect. And I just...gave it to them."
