Cecilia Rynbë. Registered nurse. Former victim of stalking. Twice abducted. Once bound and gagged and thrown into the trunk of a car. Post traumatic stress disorder. Aversion to touch, or the idea of being bound. She hadn't even realized anyone was near her. She still didn't, not really. In the grips of her terror and anxiety all she registered was that someone had come up behind her, and that someone had grabbed her wrists.
Coincidentally, and most unfortunately for everyone involved, each time in her life that Cecilia had been abducted, the last sensation she'd had was that there was someone coming up behind her.
Her cries took on a new edge, an animal sound of fear and panic. She reacted immediately and without thought. Her fists balled, her right elbow drove forcefully backwards into whoever had the misfortune of thinking she'd go quietly. Not again. Not again. "NO!" she screamed, shoving back with all of her strength. In that moment she was a terrified animal fighting for her life. "Don't touch me!" She threw herself to her side and kicked backwards, never sticking around long enough to see if she made contact. She dug in for purchase and ran at full tilt for the house, Neptune's collar still clutched in her right hand.
