Val wasn't standing far from Pam, so she heard when the other woman began to sniffle. Frowning, she moved over to her and lifted an arm to drape it over Pam's shoulders. Although she wanted to say something, she was at a loss for words, and really what could she say anyway? She'd accomplished her task, and so she would probably (hopefully) be getting her quilt from home. Pam hadn't, and there was no telling what would happen as a punishment.
"Helicopter," she finally said needlessly, softly in answer. Though as the boxes began hitting the ground, she frowned as well, brows furrowing. What... It seemed incredibly strange to her.
A glance around revealed that Cecilia was moving toward where the boxes had fallen, and she gave Pam's shoulders a gentle nudge. "Let's get this over with, shall we?" she said softly, trying to be there for the woman she'd already dubbed a friend of sorts in this place. She was just really anxious about what would happen as punishments for those who had failed their tasks.
