"Well. I don't know your name," she said. "Or I don't remember it," she amended with an easy shrug. "I had a lot of names thrown at me and not all of 'em stuck. I'm Lana," she added, since they were on the topic of names.
She glanced down to his feet, nodding. If he'd meant to come to take the dog out, he definitely wasn't dressed for it. She at least had shoes on and could probably make it off the steps. "You want me to take her out?" She asked. "Or if she's got good recall, you could probably stand inside and just open the door." But she was a puppy, and Lana was pretty sure they were more interested in bounding and exploring than responding to whatever training they might have had.
Still, she guessed she could stick around in case the puppy didn't have good recall and he needed a fetcher. It wasn't exactly like she had a hell of a lot on her agenda today.
