"This has been going on for months," Delaney said. "Did you go back on the network as far as you could go yet?" It was something to do, something to take up the vast amounts of time she'd never anticipated having. It could be interesting to read the thoughts and opinions of others, those who were still here and those who had gone already. Gone where, she didn't know. "It's hard to believe that something could slip, I guess." She raked strands of hair behind one ear with her fingers.
Her laughter was soft, barely there, as she added, "You'd have to be crazy to try to jump out. It probably isn't real, anyway. What if it's a hologram?" About some things she was staunchly practical, and this seemed to be one of them. They were stuck, and she didn't think there was much way they could impact what went on here... although somebody had done that, hadn't they, with the guy who'd been killed at the prison? Well, Delaney didn't think she could kill anyone, and she didn't think things would be that dramatic all the time.
