Tobias's gaze was solely focused on the coffee now. His gaze followed the dark liquid as it slowly rose in the pot, the smell making him feel a little better somehow. The girl's voice rang in his ear, and he listened, not wanting to ignore her completely. He wished he could remember how new she was to the house. Tobias realized she'd asked him a question a bit belatedly, and he blinked and finally tore his eyes away from the coffee pot to look at her.
"Um... yeah, I think so. It feels like it, anyway. Why would we talk about parties?" Tobias's brows drew together in confusion. "Is someone having a party?"
