He wondered what she had done to retaliate against whoever had hurt her. The circumstances had probably been different, but maybe there were some similarities. It felt a bit wrong asking, because he knew it was none of his business this had already been a pretty heavy conversation. But it made Tobias feel less alone, knowing someone could relate to what had happened. He knew Cecilia had killed a man - he could probably talk to her if he wanted to. But he just didn't know if he wanted to.
Tobias managed a small smile at the offer of her scarf and hat. He was cold, but he wasn't going to take her warmth. "I'm all right," he said with a soft shake of his head. "I came out here for fresh air... and maybe to freeze for a few minutes." Saying he wanted to feel something other than numbness sounded a little too angsty in his head. "I didn't expect company. Not that I mind it. I'm glad you came out here too. Maybe I'll make something hot to drink, though. You want anything?"
