It had felt good to Tobias when he initially stepped outside. Now he was cold, but not so much that he couldn't tolerate it. The fresh air was nice, given how many times they'd been locked in various places... the house, that underground bunker, the jail cells. Tobias was guessing that eventually They'd dump them all outside into the elements for a few days.
Her answer seemed to be the same as almost everybody else's. Fine. Good. Okay. Getting there. Was everyone just full of it, or was Tobias just feeling overly cynical. He was guilty of giving the same answers, but did anyone really believe it? He licked his lips, which only made them start to feel a bit chapped out in the cold.
"Uh... no. I mean, not... getting there. Kind of crappy, actually," Tobias said, his face feeling suddenly warm, despite the weather. "I think almost everyone is crappy. No one wants to talk about it though, which is... fine. But you know..." He shrugged and reached up to tighten the hoodie around his face.
