Who: Tobias, Chase, Cecilia, Owen When: Directly after this Where: Interrogation Room B to start
With the keys in his hands, Tobias left the kitchen and walked back upstairs to the station. He was doing his best not to look at his clothes, or his hands, or anything. He was staring straight ahead, focused on getting to his destination without completely passing out. He was still feeling numb, and he honestly had no idea how he was managing to even move right now. It was like his body was somehow independent from the blankness that had overtaken his mind. Tobias just needed to get Chase free. And then Cecilia. Then they could open those cells and... let everyone else figure out how to get back home. Or... whatever. He didn't care anymore.
Tobias fumbled a bit with the key in the door. His hands were covered in blood, but the blood was drying now, caked in between his fingers and under his nails. After the second try, he got the right key into the lock and turned it. Pushing open the door, Tobias reached in, felt around for the light and flipped it on. Chase was there, as Tobias knew he would be, looking tired and pale. Tobias slipped the keys into his pocket and carried the small knife over to start carefully cutting at the tape holding Chase to the arms of the chair. He didn't want to risk hurting his friend by cutting through the tape at his mouth, so he figured Chase could work on peeling that off once his hands were free.
Tobias wanted to say something, but he wasn't sure his voice would work. And if it did, he was scared that the moment a sound escaped him, he might start crying again. Or screaming. So he stayed quiet, slicing the knife through the thick layers of tape.
