All Tobias could think was Oh god, oh god, oh god as Simms approached. His heart was a jackhammer in his chest and his palms had become increasingly sweaty. He winced at the feel of Simms's hand in his hair and Tobias brought his hand up, as if to push Simms away, but his hand hovered mid air, like he couldn't quite decide what to do. His whole body was thrumming with tension, and his head was pounding now. He squeezed his eyes shut and released a strangled sob that he couldn't quite muffle by biting his lip.
"I'm not," he said again, before gasping, as if denying Simms what he demanded invoked some kind of physical and mental release. His denial covered all of Simms's demands and Tobias finally found the courage to grab Simms's wrist in an attempt to get him to release Tobias's hair. "Let me go!" Something was building inside of him. Something strong and... terrifying. All he knew was he wasn't giving in this time. He wasn't going to let his happen
