Simms had said no touching, but allowed them to have their moment, if only because it gave him a second to try to peel the edge of the duct tape roll up. Once he had gotten the roll ready, he figured that it was time to intervene. He stood, then walked up to Chase's other side. "Move," he told Kiley.
Then he smacked the end of the tape down on Chase's face and re-wrapped his mouth, tightly, going around his head several times to keep it in place again. "Looks like we're done," he said as he tore off the roll. He looked up at Kiley again. "Feel better?"
