Simms was having a pretty great morning, truth be told. Cecilia was his toy now. everyone was his toy now. Everyone thought he was some huge monster, which only made him want to be even more of one. ExB was supposed to get a second Christmas, but for him, this was it.
He wasn't with Cecilia when Chase and Noah's fight had broken out. He had just finished moving Jack to the cell across from Juno's, hinting that he was in for a show later, before moving on to start delivering lunches. It was in the middle of that that he caught what was happening in the cell that Chase and Noah shared, and though he caught it early on, he could see no real reason to stop it, and so he continued delivering meals to the rest of the prison. By the time he got to their block, it looked like the fighting was done. Which was kind of disappointing.
Putting aside the meals for now, Simms headed into the north cell block, grinning as he slowly approached their cell. He didn't think much about the sound of running water, and didn't notice the puddle growing until he was nearly standing in it. "You boys aren't done already, are you? Shit, I missed most of that," he complained as he came closer. "Would it help if I went and got Kiley? I could put her right here--"
Simms wasn't even entirely sure what happened next. He had walked through the puddle and leaned back against the bars of the cell across from Chase and Noah's when suddenly he felt... Buzzy was the word he wanted to use. Like his body had gone so tense so quickly that he was vibrating. He didn't feel himself fall. He was already unconscious before he hit the ground, sideways, stiff as a board, against the cell's bars.
